A warm welcome to the ASCL Ethnic Diversity Network.

The ASCL Ethnic Diversity Network (previously the ASCL BAME Leaders' Network) is a friendly, collaborative and supportive group. We come together to discuss how we can bring about structural changes across the education sector. We want to consider the issues faced by BAME leaders and provide support and solutions.

We believe coaching and mentoring are highly effective strategies. If you would like to get in touch with any of the leaders who have kindly offered to act as coaches and mentors, please contact them via the email link in their bios detailed below.

Dates for our meetings in 2024/25 will follow shortly.

During 2023 and 2024, we were delighted to welcome a wide range of inspirational guest speakers, including Naomi Evans, Co-founder and Director of Education, Everyday Racism, and Hiran Odedra, Head of EDI, Mercedes AMG Petrones F1 and CEO, Unity Bridge.

Chair
Gary Mullings, Headteacher, Vyners School
