In line with the recommendation from the
Workload Reduction Taskforce, the update was to insert into Section 3 a new Annex (5) which lists administrative tasks that should not ordinarily be carried out by teachers.
It is important to note that whilst the list applies to classroom teachers, the same principles, outlined on page 85, also apply to leading practitioners and leaders.
