Sepsis awareness

21 September 2021

Since tragically losing a pupil to sepsis while on a school trip overseas in 2019, Bristol Grammar School has worked with The UK Sepsis Trust and the Outdoor Education Advisors’ Panel to raise awareness of the signs of sepsis, which they hope young adults and those looking after them will find helpful.

The DfE will be updating its guidance to schools, teachers and those leading trips, to reference the national guidance now available on the Outdoor Education Advisors' Panel website

A new 17-minute video on sepsis and sepsis awareness, produced by The UK Sepsis Trust, can be viewed here.
