ASCL welcomes the opportunity to contribute to the development of this draft strategy.

We have structured this response to align with the five action areas in the draft strategy:

• climate education
• green skills and careers
• the education estate
• operations and supply chains
• data

We understand that the Department for Education may be considering broadening the scope of the strategy, adding digital infrastructure to the education estate, adding standards to data, and adding a sixth action area focused on international issues. We look forward to commenting on that broader scope as appropriate.
