Anna provides consultancy and CPD for whole staff and specific groups such as: SLT, mainstream class teachers, EAL teachers, HODs.
 
Anna supports schools to develop in the following areas:
 
  • Evaluating their existing whole-school inclusive practice and their provision for EAL learners.
  • Identifying whole-school/departmental targets and action-plans to create greater consistency and impact with more inclusive teaching and learning.
  • Introducing and embedding academic language across all subjects.
  • Developing a successful EAL department; planning an EAL intervention curriculum that works in synergy with mainstream learning.
  • Increasing teachers’ confidence and range of adaptive teaching and learning strategies to support EAL and SEND learners within the mainstream.
  • Coaching and mentoring programmes tailored to the needs of specific groups, including ITTs, ECTs and teachers who are struggling to adapt their lessons for all learners.
Schools can book a free initial consultation with Anna, during which an appropriate plan of action for consultancy, CPD or a combination of the two can be identified.
 
Sessions can be delivered in-person or via Teams, with a duration of 1-2 hours, half day or full day, with email and phone call support provided in between sessions, as appropriate.
