The Corinium Education Trust is a cross phase Trust serving the communities of the South Cotswolds. We are a family of six schools with a pupil population of 1504 across our mid-size secondary and five primary schools. With a strong local reputation we are excited that our brand new primary school supported by Gloucestershire County Council is opening in 2029 with a total NOR 630 when fully open. We have a strong vision focused on using our collective strengths to respond strategically to the needs of children, parents and other stakeholders and contribute fully to the provision of excellent education in our schools.
All schools within The Corinium Education Trust embrace and share our overarching vision. However, we recognise and celebrate our schools’ distinctive characteristics. While there is some alignment in practice, each school retains its own unique ethos and develops a curriculum tailored to the needs of its pupils. With this unwavering focus on inclusive education we have been successful in supporting our schools to achieve positive outcomes and sustainable school improvement.
Our geographically local Trust is based on partnership. By working together locally we are creating a strong community of educators and raising aspirations. This collaborative approach extends beyond our own schools into the local area through active engagement in professional groups across the region supporting educational development and providing leadership support and growth opportunities.
At this exciting time, the Trust Board is seeking to appoint a new Chief Executive Officer to lead the Trust in its next phase of development. The successful candidate will be an inspiring strategic leader with a proven track record of school improvement. They must have a commitment to developing people and be aligned with our culture and ethos of mutual professional respect and collaboration.
Through our ‘great people’ strategy, we will in turn provide you with:
- An inclusive family of schools with positive pupil, parent and community relationships
- An exceptional team of school leaders and staff committed to excellence for all
- A supportive and highly skilled Trust Board
- A highly regarded organisation with regional support
- A growing and developing Central Team
- A commitment to high quality professional development and learning for you
- A fulfilling role personally and professionally
The Trustees thank you for your interest in our organisation and hope that after reading our CEO/Trust Lead Applicant Pack you will be excited by the opportunity to lead us into the next phase of our development.
