New Ofsted Framework: Analysis, recommendations and support

In October, we ran a series of five webinars to cover the new Ofsted framework in detail.  These are now available as a package of pre-recorded resources and recording which you will have acecss to until 17 December.

Session 1 is recommended for the whole senior leadership team, and sessions 2 to 5 focus on different evaluation areas and are aimed at individual leaders (and their respective teams). The sessions cover the type of evidence that inspectors will look for to make judgements and suggest a possible self-evaluation method to aid leaders in their preparation.

  • Session 1: Overview of the new framework and toolkits including what inspections will look like under the new proposals.
  • Session 2: A focus on the new inclusion area and how it is embedded into the full framework.
  • Session 3: A focus on the curriculum and teaching and achievement evaluation areas in the new framework.
  • Session 4: A focus on the attendance and behaviour and personal development and wellbeing areas in the new framework.
  • Session 5:  A focus on leadership and governance and safeguarding areas in the new framework.
Also included are sessions for primary, post-16, and further education.
