These popular conferences for members of the senior leadership team and data managers, seek to explore the challenges facing school leaders as they respond to the ever more sophisticated range of data available to schools. Ofsted, the DfE and local authorities often base judgements about schools upon the messages that they derive from these data systems.

The conferences will aim to:

  • provide advice to school leaders on how to interpret and respond to data

  • provide a summary of the latest changes to key data tools such as Analyse School Performance (ASP), the successor to RAISE

  • explore how this data can be interpreted for the purpose of self-evaluation

  • discuss how messages relating to data can be communicated to the wider school community

  • offer advice on how to develop a strategic approach to the use of data

  • a number of workshops will be available including more detail on KS2 accountability

With the publication of the second full year of Progress 8 and the continued focus on closing the disadvantage gap, data has once again leapt to the forefront of every school leader’s agenda.

Attending the Leadership of Data Conferences offers a unique opportunity to get up to date with a rapidly changing agenda and summarises the crucial pieces of information that school leaders need to understand in order to prepare for the challenges ahead.
