Coping with Austerity: (11am-1pm) What to do when you've spent the "little extras" Integrated Curriculum Financial Planning (ICFP) Update Sessions

11:00 - 13:00, 22 January 2019 Manchester Book now

twitter#asclicfpFollowing the Chancellor’s recent budget statement and with the comprehensive spending review months away, how can school and college leaders continue to manage the massive underlying lack of investment in education (read ASCL’s response to the budget here)?

Integrated Curriculum Financial Planning (ICFP) is an approach to financial planning that combines curriculum design with sustainable budget forecasting. It will help any primary, secondary or all-through school clarify their spending and financial efficiency, and can work in a single school as well as MATs, and is relevant across all phases of education.

In these new two-hour sessions, delegates will focus on the effective management of resources and risk, learning how to use a specifically designed set of tools which draw on ASCL’s ten years’ experience in this field.

ICFP is not a one-size-fits-all approach, and every institution needs to understand how it will be effective in their own context. The decision-making process is informed by understanding the relationship between a school or group of schools’ data and key resource management metrics.

Suitable for principals and headteachers, chief financial officers, school business leaders, and senior staff with whole school financial or curriculum responsibility, based in primary, secondary or all-through schools, and including MATs and stand-alone schools (these seminars are not suitable for FE college leaders).
