A must for any head of English, maths or science.

This year's Conference for Heads of English, Maths and Science (EMS) addresses the increasing accountability measures faced by today's subject leaders, particularly the new grade boundaries and structure, and how reformed English and maths GCSEs will be reported in summer 2017. The conference also includes input from ASCL specialists and subject experts.

The morning session features keynote addresses on the national picture, a focus on the changes and challenges faced by schools in light of the new Ofsted framework, and ongoing curriculum and assessment alterations.

After lunch, experts within each specialism will lead workshops on subject-specific strands, with opportunities for questions to speakers, networking with colleagues, and sharing good practice.

This one day conference is suitable for aspiring leaders, middle leaders, and aspiring middle leaders.
