Leading On - The Future of the School Sixth Form (Part 3) - 16-19 Funding

This session is the final webinar in a three-part series.

This session will explore the changes to sixth form funding with effect from September 2020 and the influence funding has on curriculum design.

It is recommended that attendees view parts 1 and 2 before taking part in this webinar.

Earlier this year, after a number of years of cuts to 16-19 funding, the government announced “new money” to support sixth formers in schools and 16-19 students in colleges.

This session will examine who will receive additional funding, which subjects and qualifications are eligible, and which students will benefit. The session will also look at the practicalities of when and how schools and colleges will receive the additional money, along with the wider implications of the funding for sixth form curriculum provision.

If you cannot attend live you will receive a copy of the recording, links to any resources discussed, and the opportunity to submit questions.
