Leading On - Effective teaching of boys

This session will focus on the attainment gap between girls and boys and explore strategies to help address this.

The webinar will look at a range of statistical evidence to help participants  understand the various data which provides evidence of the gap between girls and boys in terms of attainment and progress.

The session will look at when the gap begins to emerge, what happened over time, and why.

Participants will then be offered practical solutions and strategies that can be used in their school to address and reduce the gap.

The impact of Covid-19 on this area of school leadership will be taken into consideration.

  • gain confidence in developing strategies and practical tactics to help teach boys more effectively
  • understand how to measure impact and get ahead with planning
