Leading On - Performance Management (Part 1) Back to Basics Policies and Procedures

This two-part webinar is an ideal opportunity for a refresher on performance management or for those who are new to leading on this area. It is intended to take delegates back to the basics of performance management, looking at all relevant policies, legislation and procedures involved, including how and when they interlink, and when they shouldn’t. The session will also explore how to deal with unexpected situations that require a pragmatic approach, for example, the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

In this session we will look at the performance management policy and any relevant legislation. This will include the Appraisal Regulations and Equalities Act, and the obligations these place on employers. Delegates will also learn which policies are related, and how and when they should interlink. We will also share good practice on policy formulation and review.
