ASCL Cymru Annual Conference 2021

Leading the Future

*Residential attendance is now full*

The last two years have presented school and college leaders with challenges which could never have been imagined. Through strong, dedicated leadership, schools and colleges have been a beacon for their communities offering calm stability at a time when children, young people and their families have faced great uncertainty.

Our conference will offer an opportunity to reflect on our experiences and achievements and explore what the future of education and leadership in Wales looks like – and what it should look like.

With our theme of ‘Leading the Future’, we will consider what comes next in terms of the future development of curriculum, pedagogy, and education policy and how we as leaders can shape that future for the benefit of our whole school communities.

The conference will include excellent keynote speakers, practical workshops, and the opportunity to reconnect with colleagues from across the country.

ASCL Cymru Conference 2021 will provide the time and space for you to re-energise your professional development and leadership.

Speakers include:
  • Jeremy Miles MS, Minister for Education and Welsh Language
  • Hayden Llewellyn, Chief Executive, Education Workforce Council (EWC)
  • Philip Blaker, Chief Executive, Qualifications Wales
  • Claire Morgan, Acting Chief Inspector, Eystn (invited)

Cynhadledd Flynyddol ASCL Cymru 2021
Arwain y Dyfodol

Mae'r ddwy flynedd ddiwethaf wedi cyflwyno heriau i arweinwyr ysgolion a cholegau na ellid byth fod wedi'u dychmygu. Drwy arweinyddiaeth gref, ymroddedig, mae ysgolion a cholegau wedi bod yn esiampl i'w cymunedau gan gynnig sefydlogrwydd tawel ar adeg pan fo plant, pobl ifanc a'u teuluoedd wedi wynebu ansicrwydd mawr.

Bydd ein cynhadledd yn cynnig cyfle i adlewyrchu ein profiadau a'n cyflawniadau ac archwilio sut beth yw dyfodol addysg ac arweinyddiaeth yng Nghymru – a sut y dylai edrych.

Gyda'n thema 'Arwain y Dyfodol', byddwn yn ystyried yr hyn sy'n dod nesaf o ran datblygu'r cwricwlwm, pedagogeg neu addysgeg a pholisi addysg yn y dyfodol a sut y gallwn ni fel arweinwyr lunio'r dyfodol hwnnw er budd ein cymunedau ysgol gyfan.

Bydd y gynhadledd yn cynnwys prif siaradwyr rhagorol, gweithdai ymarferol, a'r cyfle i ailgysylltu â chydweithwyr o bob rhan o'r wlad.

Bydd Cynhadledd ASCL Cymru 2021 yn rhoi'r amser a'r lle i chi ail-egnïo eich datblygiad proffesiynol a'ch arweinyddiaeth.

Mae'r siaradwyr yn cynnwys:
  • Jeremy Miles AS, y Gweinidog Addysg a'r Gymraeg
  • Hayden Llewellyn, Prif Weithredwr, Cyngor y Gweithlu Addysg (CGA)
  • Philip Blaker, Prif Weithredwr, Cymwysterau Cymru
  • Claire Morgan, Prif Arolygydd Dros Dro, Estyn (gwahoddwyd)
  • Corinne Momal-Vanian, Cyfarwyddwr Gweithredol, Kofi Annan Foundation (rhithwir)
  • Georgina Haarhoff, Dirprwy Gyfarwyddwr - Cwricwlwm, Llywodraeth Cymru
