New UCAS tariff implementation

24 February 2016

The new UCAS Tariff is being introduced for the 2017 application cycle. This means that learners applying to university from September 2016 will use new tariff points.

In order to support teachers and advisers with this transition, UCAS has produced a suite of resources including FAQs, factsheets and toolkits to help you share information with others. The latest resource, Teachers' & advisers' toolkit 2, includes exemplar entry requirements from HEPs that intend to use new tariff points for admissions purposes. These examples are timely, as you will be using the new tariff to advise learners from this summer onwards. If you have feedback, please contact the UCAS Policy Team.
