To support the return of accurate post-16 school census data, the EFA has published a helpful and easy-to-use interactive tool. Some institutions risk not getting the funding they should because of inaccurate data returns.
The tool will help schools to understand how their data is used to calculate their post-16 funding, as well as helping them understand common errors and how they affect the funding the EFA calculates. It will be particularly useful to business managers and those staff responsible for preparing and submitting the school census.
The EFA has also produced a suite of EFA funding reports in COLLECT that will be available when the Autumn census return opens on 6 October to help institutions understand and quality assure their post-16 data. The EFA strongly advises institutions to use these reports to help quality assure census returns well in advance of the close of the autumn census returns window.
