Stonewall offers training in creating an LGBT inclusive school environment for primary schools, secondary schools and colleges across the UK and it is currently working with the Government Equalities Office to offer selected primary schools a full-day of free bespoke training.

The training is being offered specifically to primary schools where more than 14% of pupils are eligible for free school meals.

The local authority areas covered by this funded training are: the North East (all areas), North West (Blackburn with Darwen, Blackpool, Halton, Liverpool, Manchester, Rochdale, Salford, Tameside, Warrington, Wirral), East of England (Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Essex, Thurrock), East Midlands (Lincolnshire County, Nottinghamshire County), South East (Brighton and Hove, East Sussex, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth, Southampton, West Sussex).

This offer is limited to 100 schools, so members are urged to register for this free programme as quickly as possible. More information is available here.
