Launched in July 2016, the Extreme Dialogue project aims to reduce the appeal of extremism among young people and offer a positive alternative to the increasing amounts of extremist propaganda available online.
A series of short documentary films and open access educational resources (online Prezi presentations and resource packs) tell the stories of those profoundly affected by violent extremism, and are available at www.extremedialogue.org
The resources can be used with young people aged 14-18 years in classrooms and are intended to build pupils’ resilience to extremism by creating a safe space for debating controversial issues and enhanced critical thinking.
