Erasmus+ funding for UK schools 2019

05 February 2019

Are you interested in funding for professional development? Erasmus+ funds school teachers, managers and leaders to job shadow or teach abroad – a great way to gain fresh ideas and get inspired. There’s also funding for thousands of training courses across Europe, covering topics such as school leadership, inclusive teaching, mental health, digital learning, languages, STEM, supporting migrant and refugee children, and much more.

Alongside professional development, the funding supports international pupil exchanges, and partnership projects with schools abroad. Partnership projects could be curriculum related, or address shared challenges such as early school leaving or wellbeing.

€36 million of funding is proposed for UK schools in 2019. The funding is open to UK schools and colleges providing general, vocational or technical education to pupils aged 3 to 18 years. Schools can apply individually, as a group of schools, or through a consortium.
