Careers guidance survey - share your views

30 August 2018

Effective, informed careers guidance is absolutely crucial in these complex, modern times. The Gatsby Foundation has commissioned Pye Tait Consulting to carry out a targeted survey of school and college leaders to understand what they think about the subject of careers guidance, and how these views have changed since the release in December 2017 of the government’s careers strategy.

Throughout September, Pye Tait will be contacting schools and colleges by telephone to gather the views of school and college leaders. Each interview should last no longer than 15 minutes. Views of governors will also be collected via a separate, online survey. The results will be used to inform how the Gatsby Foundation might continue to support careers guidance in the future.

If you would like to volunteer your views, please contact Susan Ellison on (01423 509433) to organise a time to speak to one of Pye Tait’s researchers. If you would like to know more about the research, please contact the project manager, Clare Vokes on (01423 509433).

Your views will be treated confidentially by Pye Tait Consulting and reported to The Gatsby Foundation anonymously in line with GDPR, the Market Research Society Code of Conduct and the Data Protection Act 1998.

ASCL encourages members to engage with this important survey.
