BBC Survey: What's happening to creative arts subjects in secondary schools?

17 October 2017

Has provision changed, how has it changed and why? If current trends and policy continue, what could change in the next three years?

Please check your school admin inbox today for a BBC online survey that’s been sent out to all state-funded secondary schools in England. It’s a quick 10 questions designed to measure the ‘squeeze’ on creative arts subjects in schools, including art, music, drama, dance, design and technology and media studies. It shouldn’t take more than five minutes to complete and all responses will remain confidential.

It’s the first time the BBC has attempted such a large survey of schools and getting a good response rate is vital. The results will be broadcast across BBC News programmes including network TV, radio and online, along with regional and local coverage.
