    The DfE has just launched a new grant aimed at supporting trusts in improving schools. In order to qualify, trusts must plan to either take into your trust and improve at least two additional schools or form a new MAT of two schools or more and improve them, both within the next 12 months.

  • Pilot changes to section 8 short inspection conversions

    Ofsted is currently trialling changes to the way section 8 short inspections are converted to section 5 full inspections. It is emphasised that these do not alter the Common Inspection Framework and the changes only apply to section 8 short inspections which convert to section 5 full inspections.
