ASCL Cymru spells out scale of funding crisis to Education Minister

The Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL) Cymru, which represents more than 650 school leaders in Wales, has sent an open letter to Minister for Education Kirsty Williams about the scale and severity of the school funding crisis in Wales. This is an unusual step and reflects the strength of feeling among school leaders about this critical issue.
The letter is signed by ASCL Cymru President Jackie Parker, Vice-President Lee Cummins, and Immediate Past President Hugh Davies, all of whom are serving school leaders. They warn: “We feel that the Welsh public needs to be aware of the severity of the situation and the risk to standards.”
