16-19 tuition fund change

10 September 2020

The ESFA has announced that the tuition fund can now be used for supporting students, in small groups, who achieved a grade 4 in maths and English as well as those who achieved less than a grade 4. This comes after ASCL and other organisations pressed for a change as many more students achieved a grade 4 in maths and English this summer.

The change by the ESFA will be welcome to post-16 and FE colleges that were concerned about so many students needing support this year.
