Resources and guidance for schools and colleges on online safety

July 2020

ASCL has been working with an expert team from the University of Leicester, University College London (UCL), Anglia Ruskin University and the specialist organisation Sexplain to create guidance for schools and colleges on how to avoid online harm and help students navigate digital engagement safely.

During lockdown, remote learning has been a necessity therefore it is advisable to review online health.

The guidance will help schools and colleges support children and young people and prepare for the new statutory RSE/RSHE curriculum

The resources include:
  1. A comprehensive guide to online sexual harassment
  2. A policy document for senior leaders with a useful review checklist
  3. A guide for students who experience online sexual harassment
