Leading On - Artificial Intelligence: Provocations for Senior Leaders

This webinar aims to provide provocations to senior leaders in and across schools about artificial intelligence (AI) and its inevitable transformational effect in the lives of young people. It will provide a space to explore the past, present and potential future of AI and gives senior leaders some headspace to consider essential items for their agendas. There will also be a presentation of AI in action and the value of action research groups to tackle workload and wellbeing at an organisational and management level.

The webinar will look at the latest research in AI in education and support leaders to navigate the key questions around EdTech, PedTech and platforms being used today which are creating the digital ecosystems of our schools – the question being is it by design or default?

There will be provocations around ethical considerations for senior leaders and strategies for harnessing AI and transforming organisations into authentic and developmental educational spaces which are preparing young people for a professional workspace increasingly dominated by remote contracts, flexible working, technology-driven processes and AI-dependent workflows.

Delegates will also consider the critical crossroads at which education finds itself, with the crisis in teacher recruitment and retention, emotionally-based school avoidance, working conditions and workload - could AI provide solutions which have not existed before?
