Training

ASCL offers training courses on more than 90 topics, addressing the needs of members and non-members at all levels of leadership. Courses are constantly being added and adapted as priorities change and new initiatives are brought in.

Many programmes are aimed at senior leaders, a number of courses are run specifically for middle leaders who are aspiring to whole-school leadership roles, and other school leaders including bursars and business managers will find plenty of development opportunities within our programme.  Events are open to members and non members.

One-day training courses are held regionally and address a broad range of topics, including preparing for inspection, timetabling, financial management and curriculum structures. Most are delivered by experienced former school and college leaders who have been trained as facilitators and consultants.
