ASCL MAPS has a team of skilled consultants who are able to assist with any area of school/college improvement or professional development. Each consultancy is tailormade and delivered by consultants who understand the issues.
All our courses can be provided in your organisation. There are a number of advantages to in-house training:
- The person who provides the training in your organisation will be an expert in their field.
- They will have previously worked as a senior leader so they know schools/colleges.
- The training can take into account any relevant data or other information relating to your school/college, should you wish it. You simply send your relevant material to the consultant in advance of the training, having discussed what you want, directly.
- The training will therefore be fully “bespoke” to your requirements.
- If you need to train three or more colleagues, it is more cost effective (and far more convenient) for the training to take place in-house.
- You could even invite a few colleagues from neighbouring schools/colleges.
In the academic year 2010-11, 99 per cent of our consultancies were rated as good or outstanding by our clients, and of these 84 per cent were rated outstanding.
