ASCL’s annual conference for 2012 was a huge success and it was the biggest yet with a record number of delegates with over 900 people in attendance. It took place last week on Friday and Saturday 23-24 March in Birmingham and included a wide range of high profile keynote speakers such as, the Secretary of state for Education, Michael Gove and Sir Michael Wilshaw, Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Schools. The event was the perfect platform for some lively conversation on some of the major issues that school and college leaders are faced with and there were many opportunities for delegates to ask questions, attend seminars and network with colleagues.

This year, for the first time ever, ASCL streamed live footage over the internet from the conference including the keynote speeches, presentations and seminars. The video footage will be available to view over the next six months, please click here to watch it.
