For just 150 pennies a week, we help take care of your health.
We don’t work for profit. We work to give our members excellent healthcare, when they need it most. For our members, sound advice, prompt treatment times and access to first class medical facilities are just a phone call away. What’s more, as a mutual organisation every penny we receive is used for the benefit of you and all our members. Our mutual status is why we can provide employees of the public sector with a wide range of discretionary healthcare services, for just £1.50 per person per week.
As a not-for-profit mutual society, Benenden Healthcare complements the services provided by the NHS by providing discretionary healthcare services when members are experiencing difficulty in solving their health problems.
With a current membership of more than 940,000, everyone has access to a range of services including a 24 hour GP advice line, a 24 hour stress counselling helpline, long-term care advisory services, as well as a range of lifestyle and medical advice available on our website www.benenden.org.uk. These services are available as soon as anyone becomes a member.
Other services, such as local diagnostic services, treatment services, help towards physiotherapy costs and financial assistance for members suffering with cancer or TB are available after six months’ membership.
Share the care with your family and friends
As a member of Benenden Healthcare, you’ll also be able to share the same excellent services with those you care about. You can add friends and family to your membership at the same affordable cost of just £1.50 per person, per week.
