Managing a flexible approach

All staff can find flexibility in their patterns of work useful at different points in their careers, whether to enable them to balance work with caring roles, to manage their health, to pursue additional learning, development or hobbies, or for a range of other reasons. As a school leader, managing employee requests to work flexibly can seem like an additional burden, but there are many ways in which a more flexible approach can benefit the school as well as the individual.
